Orpheus is a miniature (1 minute in length) and was written to be submitted to Vox Novus "15 minutes of Fame." The piece is scored for the Verismo Trio's flue, saxophone, and piano instrumentation, and was a very quick write which made it a lot of fun! Verismo Trio selected this work along with fourteen others to be on their concert in Wyoming in October 2015.
